This Zentangle®-inspired class is a relaxing and easy method of drawing that does not require previous experience in Zentangle or any other art. “BeLEAF” it or not, if you can use a pen to write your name, you are perfectly capable of excelling in this workshop!
Simply grab your favorite pen (or two) and join Jessica Davies of Salted Pink Studio for this #BWIPS workshop where you’ll use basic pen strokes to create whimsical illustrations with botanical themes. You will learn the basic patterns necessary for creating a FLOW-ral garden, and then you’ll be “digging in” to the process, making multiple pieces worthy of framing in the short 90-minute class.

Supplies needed: bring your favorite pen(s) or one(s) you bought at #BWIPS, and an open mind. All other supplies will be provided. (Optional: different colors of inks and a waterbrush.)
About Jessica: A Certified Zentangle Teacher® (CZT) and Mixed Media Explorer in addition to her day job, Jessica Davies curated a career that complements her art. When not in her Maryland studio, she teaches recurring Zentangle® classes online in addition to corporate and private clients, and also at regional and national art retreats. Her classes, like her personality, are laid back and always injected with a sense of whimsy and a big dose of positivity.
